Managing your Advanced Assessments settings

Here we will cover how to manage the completion and scoring settings for your assessments.

Note: if you do not see Advanced Assessments enabled on your account, contact your Client Success manager to have them added. Additionally, these assessments cannot not be accessed by learners on Internet Explorer

Administrators within Synapse have the ability to control the scoring settings at the design or template level. To view or adjust the settings, following these steps:

1. Click on the customize design icon in the top right corner.

2. Then select Assessments

You'll have the ability to toggle and customize the following:

  • Track Completions - Do you want to track a learner’s completion of the course? If so, you'll have the ability to customize the completion title, messaging and button text. The course completion will be passed back to your LMS.

  • Advanced Assessments - If enabled for your account, you'll see this option toggled. This will allow you to set the minimum passing score and completion messaging for the possible outcomes (pass, fail). The score will also be passed back to your LMS.
